What are attachments?
Attachments provide additional guidance and insight into the rules and regulations applicable to your company. If a requirement has a related attachment, you’ll see it noted in your survey view underneath the requirement title.
A few examples of attachments you’ll find are:
Official Guidance from sources such as State Attorneys General, State Regulatory Agencies, NMLS, and other applicable regulatory bodies, etc.
Model Forms
Advisory Letters
and much more…
When viewing the detail page of a requirement with attachments, you’ll see any available files on the right-hand side underneath the list of defined terms.
Clicking on an attachment link will either open it in the browser (for PDF files) or download it (for other file types like Word, etc.).
Attachments are also included when comparing changes across requirement versions. You’ll be able to see when a file was Added or Removed across versions to track precisely when guidance changed that may be relevant to you. If we update a file, you’ll see two instances; one for removing the old file version and another for its replacement.
